Palak Oza, MD, FACOG, is an OB/GYN specialist at Garden State Women’s Center in Hackensack, New Jersey. Dr. Oza is dedicated to providing excellent patient care through open communication and continued education to advance her expertise. Able to serve the multicultural community in Hackensack and the surrounding areas, Dr. Oza understands Hindi, Gujarati, and Spanish. She is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Oza received her undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. She remained in Virginia and completed medical school at Virginia Commonwealth University, formerly known as the Medical College of Virginia, in Richmond. Dr. Oza relocated to New York City to complete her residency at Lenox Hill Hospital.
After completing her training, Dr. Oza started working in private practice in Bridgewater, New Jersey, before joining Garden State Women’s Center in Hackensack.
When she’s not taking care of patients, Dr. Oza unwinds with running and yoga, and spending time with friends, family, and her dog, Teddy. She’s also trained in the Indian art form known as Kathak.
